Biography:

Cindy Moon, also known as Silk, is a superheroine in Marvel Comics. She gained her powers after being bitten by the same radioactive spider that empowered Peter Parker, a detail kept secret for years.

Her first appearance was in *The Amazing Spider-Man* Vol. 3 #1 (April 2014), though she was initially shrouded in mystery and her face was unseen. Ezekiel Sims, aware of her potential, sequestered her away to protect her from Morlun and the Inheritors.

Upon her release by Spider-Man, Silk struggles to adapt to a vastly changed world and navigate her newfound powers and her connection to Peter through their shared spider-sense. She eventually embraces her identity as Silk, becoming a superhero in her own right.
